Sirius XM’s Karen Hunter, Joe Madison, “The Black Eagle,” and Sway Calloway participated in a town hall with students at Morehouse College to discuss voting rights and voter registration among millennials. The free event was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sale Hall, 830 Westview Dr. S.W. The panel was be moderated by Karen Hunter, host of the popular Karen Hunter Show.
Efforts to engage young people have risen dramatically since the 2016 elections. According to the Pew Research Center, millennials and Generation Xers cast 69.6 million votes in the 2016 general election.
